10/15/08 (Oceanside, CA): Detroit singer/songwriter Pat Predd was nominated as a finalist for 2008 Singer-Songwriter of the Year in the Indie Singer-Songwriter Association (ISSA) Songwriter Contest for his song "Push". Based in San Diego, the Independent Singer-Songwriter Association (ISSA) Songwriting Contest is an international competition supporting the disciplines of songwriting, musicianship and performance.


Growing Hope Harvest Party Blast!


9/06/08 (Ypsilanti, MI): Duo Pat Predd and guitarist Steve Wellinski had the opportunity to play for Growing Hope's 1st Annual Harvest Party -- a community-based group that supports the disadvantaged through gardening efforts (PLEASE check out their website on the "Links" tab above for more information and donations). Had a super super time playing and meeting a fantastic group of people!!!

"Goodbye Easy" Album Considered for National Distribution


3/02/08: Independent Music Distributor C.E.D. Entertainment Distribution is evaluating Predd's full CD "Goodbye Easy" for potential licensing/distribution in North America. C.E.D. is looking for talented artists from around the world along the lines of Gavin DeGraw, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews, Damien Rice, etc.

Megatrax Gets Another Predd Tune


8/15/07: "The Answer" was forwarded today to the LA publishing giant Megatrax. Megatrax is looking for HOT A/C-POP SONGS a la James Blunt, Matchbox Twenty, Goo Goo Dolls, and Daniel Powter that are "unique, yet accessible" -- material that is a "cut above" the norm -- with great vocals, hooks, and tight, well-structured songwriting.

8/10/07: Predd tune "The Answer" was forwarded yesterday to Chris Long Management, a West Coast-based Management Co. (they rep. a current platinum-selling Rock group) that is starting a new Publishing division. CLM is looking for well-written, hook-filled songs a la Maroon 5, the Fray, John Mayer, and Counting Crows, with the potential to be huge hits to pitch to today's top AAA/Pop-Rock artists.

6/24/07: Predd's tune "Goodbye Easy" was released last week on Illumina Records "Detroit Rockers for Life 2007" CD, a compilation of Detroit indie artists supporting Drunk Driving Prevention through Rock and Roll.
